EV setup has two layers. Every household can describe the home charger so planning knows how quickly the car can charge. A supported vehicle account adds live status and Smart Charging.
If you have a supported Tesla connection
Tesla management needs two approvals: Tesla account consent, then virtual-key pairing and Fleet Telemetry for each vehicle. Other EVs still receive planning recommendations only.
Complete the vehicle link
Add charger details
Record the home charging setup, maximum power, electrical supply and current. VPPiQ Home uses that limit to judge whether a charging plan can finish on time.
Connect Tesla
Sign in to Tesla and grant VPPiQ Home consent to read vehicle state and manage charging.
Pair the key and enable telemetry
Wait until the virtual key is paired. The app checks each authorised vehicle before Smart Charging can run.
Choose a charge profile if you want Smart Charging
Fastest, Solar Preferred or Lowest Cost. Keep the car plugged in with enough time for the ready-by goal.
If your car is not directly connected yet
You can still save the vehicle and charger profile. VPPiQ Home may use that information as planning context. Broader EV integrations are planned. They are not available to connect today, and no date is promised here.
