Connect a solar and battery system
Link a supported inverter account so the Energy Map can show solar and battery, then apply plans when automation is enabled.

A solar and battery connection starts from Guided setup or Settings > Connections. Today the first available inverter path is FoxESS. Choose the inverter brand and whether VPPiQ should control the battery, then connect the account. After a successful FoxESS sign-in, VPPiQ Home fills battery details from the account. Add solar size only if it is missing or needs correcting.
Other brands, including Sigenergy, Sungrow and GoodWe, are in development and cannot be connected yet. You can still record them in the household profile.
Connect a supported inverter
Open Solar and battery setup or Connections
Choose the supported inverter sign-in offered for your home.
Complete the provider sign-in
Use the household’s own inverter account. FoxESS asks you to allow system data access and, if you want automation later, device control.
Wait for devices to appear
Hardware discovery can take a short time. Stay on the page until battery details populate, or try again if the provider is slow.
Return to the Energy Map
Confirm that readings become Live. If they stay Not connected, reopen Connections before changing Intelligence.
